In 2022, RSA committed more than $625,000 to local ranches for on-the-ground conservation projects in North-Central Montana. Conservation Committee partners and the ranchers & landowners themselves contributed another $1.46 million to the projects. Together, we invested more than $2.09 million in grassland & grazing improvements that impacted our local communities’ economies this year.
RSA also gathered hundreds of ranchers through our Rural Resilience webinar series, book club sessions, and our in person educational events including the Soil Health Tour and Grazier's Gathering. These inspiring workshop session and peer-to-peer discussions help ranchers learn, connect, and develop the tools and resources needed to continue building the treasured landscape that ranchers have stewarded for generations.

Your membership commitment to the Ranchers Stewardship Alliance will continue to build the treasured grassland communities, maintain open spaces, increase wildlife habitat, and produce food and fiber for the rest of the world. This membership is informal and non-voting, but your voice is still valued and encouraged! As a committed member, we would also invite you to inquire about serving on one of our planning committees.
